What About Natural Thermogenics…Do They Really Burn Fat?

The word “thermogenic” means heat-producing.

When your body burns calories, it is generating more heat, so supplements that boost metabolism, or burn fat, fall under the thermogenic umbrella.

Many different types of these supplements are available over the counter.

Some contain just one ingredient, while others use a combination of metabolism-boosting compounds.

The maker’s of these supplements claim that they will help you lose weight or burn more body fat, but the validity of this claim is strongly debated.

So…Do They Help You Burn Fat?

Here’s some info on a few of the most commonly used natural compounds we’ll look at to decide if they actually help in the burning of body fat.

But before we go any further…please make sure you consult your doctor before beginning any supplements that may interfer with any health conditions or other medications you are currently taking.

1. Caffeine Anhydrous

Well, that’s because so many companies were putting tons of it in their supplements.

This really gave caffeine a bad rap!

If you happen to partake in the drinking of the 1.4 billion cups of coffee a day worldwide… and have ever had 1 too many cups of coffee (oops!)… you may have experienced the jittery side effects it causes.

Or, if you’ve taken a fat burning supplement filled with crazy amounts of caffeine promising all kinds of super fast results!!

Meanwhile, your heart is pounding out of your chest, and you can’t even bring a glass of water to lips without spilling it all over yourself. Ugghh!

All of that isn’t necessary to get the thermogenic results from caffeine! Let’s be reasonable…
